I followed Theo through the dense forest, my senses on high alert.
We were tracking a lead on the mysterious attacks, and I was determined to help him get to the bottom of it.
As we walked, Theo filled me in on the latest developments. “We’ve had reports of a rogue witch coven operating in the area,” he said, his voice low and serious. “I think they might be behind the attacks.“%
I nodded stiffly. “I think I can help with that,” I said, my eyes scanning the surrounding area. “Let me see if I can pick up any scents.
Theo nodded, and I closed my eyes, focusing on my senses.
After a few moments, I detected a faint scent of wolf shifter and something else…something magical.
Tve got something.” I said, opening my eyes. “Follow me.”%
I led Theo to a hidden cave nearby, and we cautiously made our way inside.
The air was thick with the scent of magic, and I could feel the energy of the coven pulsing through the air.
Theo’s eyes narrowed as he took in the scene. This is definitely the work of a rogue coven,‘ he said, his voice grim.!!
“I think I see something.” I said, spotting a symbol etched into the wall.
Theo followed my gaze, and his looks darkened. That’s the mark of the Slither brook coven,‘ he said. “They’re a notorious group of rogue witches.“8
“We need to stop them,” I said, my voice firm.8
Theo nodded, his eyes finding mine. “I agree. But we need to be careful. We don’t know what kind of powers they have or what kind of magic they’re using.“%
“I think I can help with that. Let me see if I can get into their dreams and gather some information.“%
“Be careful, Bella. We don’t know what kind of dangers are lurking in their dreams.“%
I nodded, taking a deep breath. I focused my mind and reached out with my dream walking abilities, seeking out the coven leader’s dreams.
After what felt like an eternity, I finally broke through into the coven leader’s dreams.%
I saw visions of dark magic and ancient rituals, and I sensed the coven’s desire for power and revenge.
I also saw a vision of the full moon, and I realized that the coven was planning to launch a final attack on Theo during the full moon.
I pulled out of the dream, my heart pounding with fear. “Theo, I got something,” I said in a serious tone.
“Are you okay? What is it?“%
“They’re planning to launch a final attack on you during the full moon,“%
He sighed deeply. “We’ll be ready. We’ll launch a counterattack and take them down.“%
“We’ll wait till the full moon, then.“%
We made our way back home, our minds running with plans and strategies.
As we walked, Theo turned to me with a smile.
“Thanks for a good job, Bella,” he said, his voice warm. “It was actually sexy watching you be so brave.”%
I smiled, feeling a flutter in my chest. “Oh, really?“%
He nodded. “Yeah. So Brad had a gem like you and let you slip away? What a bastard.“%
I snorted a laugh.“I’m glad to be rid of him,”
When we reached his mansion, I made my way to the kitchen./
I decided to fix myself a cup of tea, hoping it would help me relax after the events of the day.%
As I waited for the water to boil, I turned to Theo, who was sitting on the couch, watching me with an intense gaze. “Would you like some tea?” I asked, trying to sound casual.”
“What’s it for?” he asked, looking at me all over.”
“It’s my special tea. It usually helps after a stressful day. Relaxation, you know?“%
“Oh, yeah. Gimme some of thatttt.“/
I chuckled and began making him a cup of tea.
As I cut some of the ingredients I used in making it, I accidentally cut myself with the knife.
I yelped in pain and held my bleeding finger.
Theo immediately rushed to my side, his eyebrows scrunched up together in worry. “Are you okay?“!!
I nodded, wincing in pain. “I cut myself.”
He gently took my finger in his hand, and while looking at me, he put my finger into his mouth and licked the blood off.
I felt a jolt of electricity run through me as he did so.”
When he removed my finger from his warm tongue, I saw that the cut had magically healed.”
I stared at my finger in amazement, feeling a sense of wonder.

Theo’s eyes didn’t leave mine for a second and he swallowed hard. “You finally felt it too? I knew you were my mate all this time. I was waiting for the right time to tell you, since you were still fresh from a breakup.“/
I stared at him in disbelief. Did the goddess give me a second chance at love? I thought I had lost my chance at true love with Brad, but now…now I wasn’t so sure.
