It was a divorce petition.
Anathea took the document. Under reason for divorce, it clearly stated “irreconcilable differences“.

After parting with Giselle, Anathea got into her car. She glanced at her phone just as a message from Gregory popped up. “You went to see your father?”
Anathea froze. Her spine straightened instinctively as she glanced around the parking lot. But she didn’t see anyone suspicious.
Another message followed. “I went by your office. You weren’t there,”
Only then did she exhale. She quickly replied, “Yeah, I stopped by. Just chatted a little. Did you need something from me?”
As soon as she sent that, her phone started ringing.
When she answered, Gregory’s pleasant voice came through the line. “I missed you, so I went to look for you.”
“Mr. Sinclair, can you be serious for once?” Anathea asked, exasperated.
“Iam being serious. I’m seriously missing you,” he replied, as if that were the most natural thing in the worl
Anathea pressed her lips together at his words. “If you keep this up I’m going to hang up.”
“Alright, alright.” Gregory then got to the point. “There’s a launch event for a new project this afternoon, I need you to attend with me.”

Gregory’s eyes scanned the guest list. At the top were Dominic and his fiancée, Shirley Watson. Harmal’s name was also listed as an ambassador for the auto show during the ceremony.
A glimmer of something unreadable passed through Gregory’s gaze.
He had a feeling things might get interesting this afternoon, so he wanted Anathea by his side to witness it.
Meanwhile, backstage in the dressing room of the auto show, Hannah’s voice rang out, clearly annoyed.
