Shirley smiled and glanced over at Dominic.
His expression didn’t change much. He greeted Gregory and Anathea blandly, “It’s been a while.”
Only then did Gregory give a short, perfunctory response.
“Our wedding’s at the end of the month. Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair, we’d be honored to have you there,” Shirley said with a sweet smile.
Anathea didn’t answer. Given Dominic’s history with Hannah, she had no intention of showing up. But she wasn’t sure what Gregory planned to do.
“Alright, the ribbon–cutting’s about to start. Let’s go.” Gregory skipped over the topic and draped his arm around Anathea’s shoulder.
Shirley’s smile twitched. She reached for Dominic’s arm, but he subtly avoided her touch.
Her perfectly made–up face stiffened for a second. Once the three of them walked off, she looked at Ollie nearby and whispered, “How’s the thing I asked you to arrange?”
“It’s all set, Ms. Watson. No need to worry.”
“It’s Mrs. Lancaster,” Shirley warned.
“Yes, Mrs. Lancaster.”
“You’d better not disappoint me.” Shirley smirked.
When Anathea saw Hannah appear, she was genuinely surprised.
The way Anathea saw it, Hannah had always taken a more serious, talent–driven approach and had always dressed relatively conservatively.
She’d once said it was because her grandparents and Chloe watched her on TV, and she wanted to show them her best side. But today, Hannah was wearing a sheer, black lace outfit that was barely covering anything.
She looked strikingly sexy, but her face barely showed a smile. And with the weather turning chilly today, her lips trembled slightly from the cold.
The moment she appeared, everyone focused on her. Some media cameras even zoomed in directly on the more revealing areas to capture every detail.
Hannah’s eyes looked lifeless. But when she caught sight of Anathea, her expression flickered briefly. As if trying to avoid Anathea, she passed right by without saying a word.
“Hannah…”
Anathea had just called out to Hannah when Gregory gently took her hand and asked under his breath, “You sure you want to have a reunion in front of all these people?”
Anathea swallowed her words at once.
She knew that Hannah wasn’t the kind to let others see her weak. She had her pride. But this time, that pride was clearly being crushed under the weight of flashing cameras desperate to feast on her humiliation.
Anathea’s heart ached. She shifted slightly and cast a sidelong glance at Dominic, only to see he didn’t even look at Hannah, as if she was nothing but a stranger in the crowd.

Meanwhile, the other shareholders couldn’t take their eyes off her
“Ms. Cole, you’re looking stunning today!”
“Come over here! Stand here!”
They eagerly waved their hands at Hannah.
Hannah drew in a deep breath, then walked past Dominic and stepped between the men.

“Come on, let’s get a photo together. Don’t be shy,” a pot–bellied man, Bobby Chapman, said as he walked right up to Hannah and hooked his arm around her shoulder.
Hannah bit her lip. Every fiber of her body screamed no, but she held her ground and forced a smile. It was just a photo. She could handle a photo.
Except Bobby had no intention of stopping there. His hand on her shoulder slowly slid downward, brushing along her skin.
“What are you doing?” Hannah flinched like she’d been shocked.
“Oh no, my bad! My hand slipped. Don’t take it the wrong way. Ms. Cole. Let’s just take one more. Just one last photo, okay?” Bobby asked apologetically.
Hannah’s fists clenched tight. But she still gave a stiff nod and said through gritted teeth, “One last photo.”
“Perfect.” Bobby smiled and stepped back beside her again.
But this time, his hand wasn’t resting on her shoulder. It slid down to touch her thigh and hip.
