Hannah’s eyes widened, and she shoved Bobby away reflexively. “If you try that again, don’t blame me for not holding back!”
Bobby sneered at her words. “Not holding back? What are you going to do? You offended your sugar daddy, and now you want to offend us too? That’s how you kill your career, you know.”
His voice wasn’t loud over the crowd, but Hannah heard every word crystal clear.
She froze, her face darkening.
“You think you got where you are all on your own? No way. It’s all because of the man behind you,” Bobby said mockingly. Though he didn’t know who was backing Hannah, he found it hard to believe she had no support. After all, she was stunning, well–built, and had already reached the top tier at such a young age
“Don’t you dare sully me with your filthy assumptions!” Hannah ground her teeth. Her lips were trembling.
Everything she’d achieved was because of her own blood, sweat, and tears.
To land her next project, she’d drunk until she’d suffered a stomach hemorrhage. To meet deadlines, she’d worked late nights nonstop for an entire month.
Several times, she’d pushed herself beyond her limits and ended up in the hospital. But she’d only rested briefly for one night before rushing back to the set the very next day.
She’d earned everything she owned on her own.
Dominic’s arrival was nothing but icing on the cake. Later, he’d even become her biggest obstacle.
And now, not only was she starved of good opportunities, but she also had to put up with disgusting men like Bobby making vile accusations.
A flash of resentment crossed Hannah’s eyes.

Bobby stuck his hands on his belt, puffed out his belly, and grinned at Hannah. “Don’t think I don’t know why you’re dressed like that today. You’re just trying to grab attention to find a new sugar daddy.”
He stepped in front of Hannah. His tone was laced with insinuation as he continued, “You’ve already sold yourself so many times. What difference does it make if you sell yourself to me? I don’t even mind how dirty you are, so what right do you have to look down on me?”
“You…” Hannah raised her hand to slap him, but he caught her wrist and smiled even wider. “No wonder you’re a star. Even your hand is so well cared for.”
Hannah lifted her leg to kick him, but he threatened, “There are so many cameras around. You kick me, and I promise—you’ll never land a single endorsement again.”
That hit her like a bullet.
The people around them all looked on like they were watching a show. None of them stepped in to help. In fact, every gaze directed at her was invasive and openly leering.

“What are you doing?” Anathea asked, anxious. “Let me go!”
Hannah didn’t want to drag Anathea into this mess, but there was no way Anathea could just stand by and watch her get bullied.
Gregory said nothing. His eyes flicked toward a figure who strode past them swiftly.
