Hannah froze, unsure how to respond. She sneered inwardly.
Did Dominic just say she was the only woman who’d ever made him feel something real?
“Men’s lies sure do come easily.” She scoffed.
“I’m not lying,” Dominic said. “I’m telling the truth. I only ever had feelings for you.”
Hannah’s personality was completely different from those other women who surrounded him. That was what attracted him the most.
Those women eagerly sought to please him so they could get what they wanted, but Hannah was different. Despite the deal between them, she never went out of her way to flatter him. She only cooperated when necessary, treating the whole thing like a job.
