Chapter 365
“Okay.” Anathea let go of Gregory’s hand and turned to leave. She was afraid that she would get swayed if she stayed with him any longer.
Jenny, following Gregory’s instructions, made ravioli and set the plate on the dining table. She smiled as she helped Anathea out of the elevator.
“Look, Mrs. Sinclair! Mr. Sinclair made these himself!”
Anathea flipped the ravioli on the plate. Surprisingly, none of them had broken apart this time, and he’d even added some chopped scallions. They looked quite appetizing.
Anathea only ate half before setting the spoon down. Perhaps she was too distracted to eat. She wanted to go for a walk, but when she reached the gate, she found a ring of bodyguards outside
Just as she was about to step out, they stopped her.
“Mrs. Sinclair, please stay inside.”
“I just want to go out for a walk,” Anathea said.
“Apologies, Mrs. Sinclair. Mr. Sinclair instructed that you stay within the courtyard if you wish to walk,” the bodyguard said, looking troubled. He was afraid of offending Anathea, but he was even more afraid of offending Gregory.
Anathea knew they were just employees doing their job, so she didn’t argue. She exhaled and turned back.
Gregory finished tidying up and came downstairs, but Anathea had already gone upstairs by elevator.
“Where’s she?” Gregory looked around, not seeing any sign of Anathea.
“Mrs. Sinclair probably went back to her room,” Jenny answered while clearing the dishes.
Gregory nodded thoughtfully.
Just then, a commotion broke out outside.
“Move! I want to see Gregory!”
Gregory stepped out and saw Theo in a scuffle with the bodyguards He raised his hand, signaling the bodyguards to back off.
Snorting, Theo patted his sleeves and walked up to Gregory. “Why can Adrian and Louie go in, but I can’t? You’re playing favorites!”
Gregory’s expression was blank. “Adrian and Louie aren’t after my wife.”
With just that one sentence, the fire in Theo’s eyes died down by half. He cleared his throat and changed the subject. “I’m here to see Anathea. How is she?”
“She had dinner and went back to rest.”
“That early?” Theo narrowed his eyes, then suddenly tried to slip past Gregory. Gregory simply lifted his leg and blocked him. “Seriously? You’re this injured and can still move that fast?” Theo frowned.
“If you have something to say, say it. If not, get lost,”
“Gregory!” Theo snapped, annoyed.
“Why are you grown men bickering at the front door? Aren’t you embarrassed?” Adrian wheeled himself in, escorted by the bodyguards.
Seeing how respectfully the bodyguards treated Adrian made The even more annoyed. He snorted and turned away, refusing to

acknowledge him.
“Enough. Just get to the point.” Adrian nudged Theo.

“I’ve got results about the thing you asked me to look into. William was the one who hired those people,” Theo said reluctantly. The moment he found out, Theo had been shocked. He’d never expected William would go after his older brother. One was in business, the other in politics–there shouldn’t have been much of a conflict of interest.
But Gregory didn’t seem surprised. “In the face of absolute profit, even biological brothers can turn into enemies. But since he had the nerve to hurt my woman, then he shouldn’t expect any mercy from me,” he uttered coldly.
The intensity in Gregory’s presence made Theo swallow involuntarily. “So, what’s your next move?”
“You’re coming with me.”
“Alright.” Theo nodded. Honestly, he’d just wanted to check in on Anathea. He didn’t think Gregory would guard her like a hawk. Gregory picked up his coat and glanced at the third–floor balcony, instructing Adrian, “Keep an eye on her for me. If anything happens, contact me immediately. But don’t let her out, and don’t give her a phone.”
Before Adrian could answer, Theo’s expression had already changed. “Gregory, what do you mean by that? Are you locking her up?”
