“Watch your tongue!” Hannah quickly cut Dominic off and covered Chloe’s ears.

“Dominic!” Hannah interrupted him before he could finish his sentence, her face flushed from anger and panic. “Shut the hell up!”

Dominic regarded Hannah’s outburst with mild amusement.
He liked seeing her all flustered and worked up. She was far too rational, too composed, and too ruthless most of the time.

Dominic’s eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at Hannah evenly. He took in her chiseled, delicate yet sultry features. She had a face carved by the heavens, and she was born for the big screen.
Moreover, she’d beat the other influential celebrities whose careers preceded hers and won the Best Actress Award with her stunning acting.
Dominic had been in the centermost seat in the audience during Hannah’s movie premiere too. Having seen her on screen, had to admit that her acting was superb.
His thoughts suddenly ground to a halt. Hannah had won the Best Actress Award; her acting was superb. He paused, and an inscrutable look flickered across his face.
Hannah noted the shift in his expression and felt a chill down her spine. She instinctively shielded Chloe.
“You truly are a marvelous actress, Hannah.” Dominic chuckled lightly.
Upon hearing his remark, Hannah knew for sure that Dominic had pieced things together. He had seen through her lies and realized she’d been putting on a show for him all along.
She had never squirmed or doubted herself on camera. She hadn’t even been nervous when she got picked on during the exhibition. But now, a thin layer of sweat had broken out over her palms.
