Natalie’s eyes were filled with fear and regret.
Anathea had lost the baby. This confirmed her guilt in hurting Anathea. And there had been so many people from the Sinclair ‘family watching from below at the time.
“Eleanor, what do we do?” Natalie grabbed Eleanor desperately, her voice choking with panic. “You have to help me…”
Eleanor was irritated by her noise. She asked the person who had brought back the news, “Where’s Gregory?”
“Mr. Sinclair has been at the hospital the whole time. He hasn’t left.”
Natalie froze. She hadn’t expected Gregory to care so much about Anathea.
Eleanor looked at the change in Natalie’s expression and asked again, “Has he mentioned anyone else, like…”
She glanced at Natalie.
“No, he didn’t mention anything.”
Only then did Natalie breathe a sigh of relief, but her fingers clenched tighter. Her eyes were filled with resentment.
“I know you’re not willing to accept this.” Eleanor read her thoughts and warned, “But you better not do anything right now. Gregory hasn’t come after you because he’s still preoccupied with Anathea. His mind’s clouded. But once he snaps back to being the cold, ruthless man he used to be, things won’t end well for you.“‘
“But Eleanor, do I really have no chance?”
Natalie’s eyes were red–rimmed. She didn’t want to give up. She had pushed things this far and was only one step away from completely destroying Anathea.
She had even told Anathea about Adam just to drive a wedge between her and Gregory.
Eleanor looked at Natalie and asked, “Do you really not know, or are you pretending not to? Gregory has been pulling strings lately, searching the entire medical field here and abroad for top experts on Adam’s condition.
“He’s brought those doctors back one by one to treat Adam. If Gregory found out about your little schemes, do you think he would forgive you?”
Natalie was stunned. She parted her lips but couldn’t say a word.
“If you hadn’t acted so recklessly and had just let Harvey abduct Anathea, he would’ve been the only one to die. But now you’ve dragged yourself into this mess,” Eleanor snapped. “How utterly foolish!”
Natalie lowered her head and said nothing, but her eyes showed defiance.
She didn’t agree with Eleanor’s words. She didn’t care if Harvey lived or died. All she wanted was for Anathea to leave Gregory
for good.
Natalie felt she hadn’t lost completely. Anathea losing the baby was good news to her. She refused to believe that Anathea would still want to stay with Gregory.
But now, she really had to leave, lay low, and avoid Gregory’s revenge when he came to his senses.
Natalie wiped the tears overflowing from her eyes. “Eleanor, I want to go abroad for a while.”
Eleanor’s gloomy expression softened a little. “Well, it seems like you’re not completely toolish. Pack your things. I’ll arrange for someone to take you to the airport as soon as possible. When this whole mess blows over, I’ll send someone to bring you back.”
Natalie nodded. “Thank you, Eleanor.”

She had to leave quickly. If she could survive this storm, she might still have a chance when Anathea and Gregory divorced.
At that thought, Natalie felt less tense and stood up. “I’ll be leaving now, Eleanor.”
“Go ahead.” Eleanor waved her off.
Natalie reluctantly left the house.
She glanced back at Eleanor sitting there. Even after all this, Eleanor was still helping her plan. She didn’t know why, but she felt a strange feeling about Eleanor. It was hard to explain.
Still, she didn’t stop walking. She turned and left.
Natalie had already planned which country to go to. She told herself optimistically that this was just a vacation.
But as soon as she stepped out of the gates of the Sinclair residence, two burly bodyguards suddenly appeared in front of her.
“W–Who are you…”
