Exciting news about the Floristry World Cup arrived three months later.
“The results of the recent Floristry World Cup in Grendova have been finalized! Ms. Aspen Langley, the president of the International Floristry Evaluation Committee, shall present the trophy to the first–place winner!”
Aspen wore a sleek, white business suit as she approached the first place winner on stage, holding a golden trophy that boasted florals in bloom. The audience’s raucous applause surrounded her
The lead cameraman quickly cut to the stage, panning the camera to where Anathea stood in a long, pearl–colored dress.
Her long hair had been braided to the side and cascaded past her chest, the ends entwined with pale blue baby’s breath. Royal blue earrings hung from her earlobes, sparkling under the lights. Everyone clapped loudly for the young and stunning winner. “Congratulations, Nat.” Aspen embraced Anathea.
“Thank you, Ms. Langley.” A smile curved Anathea’s lips. “Don’t go back on your word now. I call dibs on your next floral design.

“Alright, alright, I’ll give it to you. Goodness,” Aspen relented in exasperation. “I wonder if you and Evangeline conspired to harass me!”
“We’re simply huge fans of your work, Ms. Langley. We only want to learn from you,” Anathea clarified with a small laugh. “I hope you won’t hide any of your secrets and tips from us. Tell us everything you know, including the ace up your sleeve!”
She then handed the golden trophy to Aspen, blinking. “I’ll use this as collateral. How about it?”
Aspen’s mouth quirked to the side. “Give me a break. I think you’ve been hanging around Evangeline too long. You’re starting to become a little menace.”
“Ms. Langley, I may be a giant menace, but even I am not immune to such sharp, lethal words!” Evangeline’s voice preceded her arrival. She greeted Aspen first, then congratulated Anathea. “Oh, by the way, Olivia’s already booked a private lounge for us to celebrate! Let’s hurry over.”
Anathea nodded. “Okay.
Inside the lounge, Olivia raised her glass as she cast a look of admiration at Anathea. “Let us raise our glasses and toast to Ms. Jacobson! Not only is she the champion of the Floristry World Cup, but she was also successfully commissioned by renowned international movie star Juliana Doyle to supply floral arrangements for her wedding!”
Everyone else in the lounge raised their glasses. “Congratulations, Ms. Jacobson!”
“Thank you, everyone.” Anathea wore a faint smile as she raised her glass and downed her drink in one go. “The bill’s on me tonight! Indulge yourselves, everybody!”
“Mighty generous of you, Ms. Jacobson!” Evangeline hollered, grinning from ear to ear.
Eden Studio wouldn’t have expanded its overseas market so quickly if Anathea hadn’t made connections with Olivia.
Anathea had been absent from the studio for some time. Still, she’d sent documents detailing her plans to Evangeline to ensure the studio would operate as normal even if she wasn’t around.
Evangeline didn’t let Anathea down, either. She proceeded with Anathea’s plan and gradually built up the studio’s operations. She also helpfully corresponded with Olivia’s branch company in Grendova on the same day Anathea flew over.
And now, Anathea had not only won first place in the Floristry World Cup but also secured a deal with Ju star who had flown to Grendova for her bridal photoshoot. It was a double win for Anathea.

“Ah, we have Ms. Sharp here to thank for our success this time.” Anathea raised her glass in Olivia’s direction. If it weren’t for Olivia’s recommendation, they wouldn’t have had a smooth meeting with Juliana, let alone secured a deal with her.

After several rounds of hearty drinking, the lounge began to empty as the crowd bade Anathea and the other leading ladies goodbye.
“Hey, don’t go!” Evangeline’s face was flushed. She was still holding a bottle of expensive red wine as she whined, “Let’s keep drinking! We haven’t even hit a high yet!”
“That’s enough drinks for you. You need to stop,” Lena pointed out as she gripped Evangeline’s arm. “You’re already drunk-
“Don’t be ridiculous! I’m not drunk!” Evangeline straightened up, doubling down on her denial. “I can drink another three bottles! Go ahead, challenge me…”
But before she could finish her sentence, her head spun, and she collapsed over the table and fell asleep.
