The next morning, at the wedding venue, Evangeline looked at the sea of white roses and felt a wave of dizziness.
“Ms. Holstrom, should we proceed according to the original plan? a staff member asked.
Evangeline shook her head.
“How about we brush pink paint onto the white roses?”
“No, the paint smells pungent and will fade. With this many roses the wedding would be over by the time we finished painting.”
“Then, how about dismantling the white roses and replacing them all with artificial pink roses? No one can really tell the difference from a distance,” another suggested.
“No, if the media finds out our studio used fake flowers to decorate a wedding, they’ll surely make a big deal out of it.” “Well, what are we supposed to do then? We really can’t think of any other solution.”
“Yeah, this is just impossible.”
Evangeline heard them complaining and felt just as frustrated.
“Where’s Ms. Jacobson?” Emory rushed over.
“Mr. Smith, please don’t worry-”
“How can I not worry? Look at the time! The wedding starts at 3:00 pm, and she’s not even here!”
Aside from Evangeline and the other staff, Anathea was nowhere in sight at the wedding venue.
Evangeline let out a breath, barely maintaining a calm tone. “Mr. Smith, the wedding hasn’t started yet, has it? Could you please be a little more patient? Ms. Jacobson is already working on a solution.”
“Working on a solution?” Frederick snorted coldly. “This is what you call a solution?” He pulled out his phone. “See for yourself!

Evangeline glanced at the screen, her expression changing instantly.
“Internationally renowned actress, Juliana Doyle, refuses to attend her wedding due to dissatisfaction with decorations.”
The accompanying photo showed Juliana in the dressing room, having smashed everything in sight. Her face was streaked with tears, demonstrating just how disappointed she was with the wedding.
“There’s already a storm brewing online. If you people keep failing to offer a solution and end up ruining the wedding, don’t blame us for holding a press conference to denounce your studio!”
Emory, seething with rage, stormed off.
“Mr. Smith!” Evangeline called out several times, but Emory ignored her.
She wanted to catch up to him, but Frederick blocked her path. “What, now that Ms. Jacobson has run off, are you planning to flee as well?” Frederick said mockingly. “Looks like your studio doesn’t train florists, but runners.”
Evangeline’s expression instantly darkened, her eyes spitting fire ‘Shut up, Frederick!”
Frederick also stared at her coldly. “As I’ve told you from the beginning, you’re simply not fit for this. You’d better pack up and get out while you still can.”
For a moment, the atmosphere turned ice–cold.
The staff present were so shaken by the overwhelming tension between the two that they all lowered their heads, not daring to say a word.

Then, a staff member hurried over and whispered something in Evangeline’s ear.
Evangeline froze for a moment, looking surprised. “Really?”

“I’m not getting married anymore!“.
Juliana threw the vase, which hit the floor and shattered to pieces
Lena tried to calm her down. “Ms. Doyle, please trust us and Ms. Jacobson’s professionalism.”
“It’s because I trusted you that my wedding has become a complete disaster!” Juliana’s voice trembled with sobs as she flung the bridal bouquet at Lena’s feet.
Seeing this, Olivia stepped in and soothed Juliana. “Juliana, don’t worry. They’ll definitely solve this.”
While hugging Juliana to comfort her, Emory blamed Olivia. “I told you that their studio’s useless, but you insisted on recommending them to Juliana.”
“No, Juliana. They-”
Olivia tried to explain, but Emory cut her off. “Stop defending them. I think we should just arrange a new florist and clean up this mess-”
Before he could finish, a clear and calm voice came through. “Ms. Doyle, I got you all 200 thousand pink roses that you requested.”
Anathea slowly walked in, looking composed.
