Chapter 487
Evangeline was grinning so wide she could barely close her mouth
She whispered to Lena, “Did you hear that? Ms. Doyle and Mr. Smith just praised our team as the most professional one in front of all the media!”
That was a massive walking advertisement. The effect of the publicity was off the charts.
Lena nodded repeatedly, looking at Anathea in admiration. She know it–Anathea was the best!
With one hand in her pocket, Giselle nudged Anathea’s shoulder with her own. “Be honest, where did you manage to get so many pink roses on such short notice?” she asked unhurriedly.
Hearing that, Anathea simply curved her lips. “There were never any pink roses. They were all the white ones from before.” “What?” A flash of surprise crossed Giselle’s eyes.
Evangeline was stunned for a few seconds as well. But upon observing how the rose stems had turned from green to red, realization dawned on her. “You used the color absorption technique?”
Anathea nodded slightly. “I added red dye to the water tubes hydrating the roses and let them sit for 30 minutes to four hours. It was the perfect timing for a ceremony that would start at 3:00 pm. The color traveled up the stems to the petals, turning the white roses pink.”
“That’s genius!” Evangeline gave Anathea a big thumbs–up. “Only you could think of something like this!”
“That’s just basic skills.” Anathea arched her brows with a bright, slightly playful smile.
In the VIP section, Gregory stared fixedly at the smile on Anathea’s face, momentarily lost in thought.
“Wow, I didn’t think Anathea was this good. She managed to turn all those white roses into pink ones in such a short time,” Louie praised, winking at Gregory. “By the way, the pink roses that you asked Martin to send are still at the airport, right?”
“Yeah.” Gregory nodded.
“So, what do you plan to do with them?”
Gregory called Martin and instructed, “Distribute the roses to the local residents in Grendova. Just say they’re a gift from Eden Studio to share the joy of the wedding with everyone.”
Louie clicked his tongue. “You’re helping them advertise? What, are you just burning through your money for fun?”
“I’m happy. Can I not do that?” Gregory tugged at the corner of his lips, his gaze falling on Anathea in the distance, who was speaking with representatives from other companies.
The wedding had become her shining business card, and she was using the opportunity to exchange contacts with the executives of several companies invited to the event.
Frederick looked at the result of the board meeting on his phone. They had unanimously voted in favor of collaborating with Eden Studio.
His expression instantly darkened as he slammed his phone down on the table.
“What’s wrong, Mr. Wilson? Why are you so cranky? Feeling a little heated?” Evangeline approached Frederick with a smile, holding a wine glass.
“You must’ve seen some news, huh? Looks like someone’s little scheme didn’t work out after all.” Evangeline lifted her phone slightly, having received the same update.
When she saw Frederick looking as if he had just eaten shit, she felt delighted. He shouldn’t have provoked them earlier.
“Well then, I’ll be counting on you in the future, Mr. Wilson.” She winked and clinked her wine glass lightly against his before

turning and walking away.
Frederick pressed his tongue hard against the back of his teeth as he stared at Evangeline, who was laughing radiantly. His grip around the wine glass tightened slightly.
In the next second, he saw the tall champagne tower in the center of the dance floor, and a glint flashed past his eyes.
As night fell and the meal concluded, the waiters handed each guest a delicate mask.
“Thank you all for attending our wedding. Up next is the masquerade ball we’ve prepared for everyone. Please put on your masks and move to the dance floor to enjoy this beautiful moment together!”
“Do I look good in this?” Louie asked, already putting his mask on “I just got a slicked–back hairstyle. It really brings out my charm, doesn’t it? You’d better put yours on, too. The ball’s about to start.”
Gregory pushed the mask away. “I’m not going to wear it. It’s childish.”
“Is that so? If you don’t go out there, Anathea’s going to end up dancing with someone else,” Louie said meaningfully.
