“Pretty lady, this bouquet is for you! You’re as pretty as these roses” said the little girl in Frevancian.
Anathea was a little surprised and thanked the girl, but she didn’t accept them. A bouquet of fresh pink roses like this wasn’t cheap.
But the little girl insisted on giving it to Anathea.
So, Anathea asked, “Hey, where did you get your roses?”
“Over there.” The little girl pointed to a nearby tent. “Eden Studio is sharing the roses with us.”
Hearing the name of her own studio, Anathea paused for a momen and looked over.
Sure enough, a banner for Eden Studio was hanging above the tent and the staff beneath it were handing out wrapped pink roses to the local people.
Those who received the roses all gave thumbs–ups to the advertisement board, their faces glowing with smiles.
Anathea walked over. A staff member handed her the last bouquet of pink roses and spoke in Frevancian. “Have a great day!” Anathea accepted the roses.
The person picked up a walkie–talkie and switched to Estarian. “Martin, the pink roses at the lakefront have all been handed out.
“Alright, you can clean up and wrap up early…
”
Anathea didn’t hear the rest of the sentence because the man’s voice was familiar, and his name happened to be Martin.
“How many pink roses are you handing out in total?” Anathea asked.
The staff thought about it for a moment. “Um, about 200 thousand I think. They were all airlifted from Blossomridge, Estara. They’re very fresh.”
200 thousand.
Anathea’s eyes trembled slightly.
To be able to airlift 200 thousand pink roses in such a short time, and with Martin involved, Anathea didn’t even need to guess who was behind it.
It was him.
Anathea lowered her eyes, feeling a bit complicated.
Just then, a tall figure appeared in front of her. The shadow cast by the moonlight happened to fall at Anathea’s feet. She paused and looked up.
“Ms. Jacobson, Ms. Holstrom asked me to pick you up,” Thomas uttered.
Anathea’s previously tangled emotions immediately calmed as she nodded. “Alright.”
After she got into the back seat, Thomas drove away.
A car was parked in a dimly lit corner not far away. The window was half rolled down, revealing a finely sculpted face.
Gregory watched the car drive away, eyes darkening.
He leaned back, instinctively reaching to loosen his tie. But then, he recalled Anathea had tied it for him earlier, so he let go. His fingers brushed over the tie, as if her warmth still lingered there.

At Syntherra International Airport, as soon as Anathea walked out pushing her luggage trolley, she saw a tall figure leaning agaifist a black Bentley.
“That was fast.” The man smiled. “I saw the report about your studio on TV. Nice work, Ms. Jacobson. I’ll be counting on you in
the future.”
“Keep it low–key.” Anathea smiled slightly.
“Are you heading home?” He casually took Anathea’s luggage. “Get in.”
“No, I already have plans.” Anathea picked up her sunglasses and put them on. “Just take my luggage. I’ll go back later.”
At that moment, her phone rang. It was a call from Hatinal.
“Thea, I’m here.”
Anathea waved at the man to say goodbye, then quickly walked out of the airport, spotting Hannah’s car parked outside.
She walked toward Hannah’s car. “Why didn’t you drive inside?”
“You know how crowded airports are. I was afraid my fans would recognize me. It would’ve been a hassle.”
Hannah took off her mask and sunglasses, then opened her arms and hugged Anathea. “I haven’t seen you in three months! I’ve missed you so much!”
“I missed you too!” Anathea glanced at the empty back seat. “Where’s Chloe?”
“Oh, she’s in school.”
Hannah started the car. “I’ll drive to Castenea to pick her up later. Right now, it’s just us two. We’ve got to enjoy ourselves first.”
