Pierce finished dressing and made his way to the reception desk to tell Arianna bye. He hoped he could drag her off to some secluded comer and steal a
kiss.
“Shit,” he lowly cursed under his breath at the sight of Stella at the desk, who was having a heated discussion with Arianna.
“I demand you to give me a tour right now!” Stella shouted.
“As I have explained to you several times, tours have to be scheduled 24 hours in advance. Therefore, I can schedule a tour for tomorrow at 3:00 PM
“Obviously, I need to speak with a manager,” Stella spat.
“I’m sorry I don’t recall your first name. Karen, is it?”
I bit my lip to keep from laughing out loud. Of course, everyone knew that was the ultimate diss towards a woman, but honestly, Karen described Stella
to a tee.
“My name is Stella White, and if y-”
“No, it’s not!” Pierce spat, interrupting their dispute. Arianna was handling herself just fine, but Pierce couldn’t stand by and let Stella claim his last name like that. She no longer had that privilege and should be going by her maiden name.
“Pierce? What are you doing here?” Stella asked in disbelief.
“I’m a member here, and I’d appreciate it if you left,” Pierce sneered. “I got here first, and I don’t want to run into you constantly.”
“Awe, you’re still upset about the divorce?”
“Stella, I’m elated that you divorced me. I’m over you. I just think you’re a piece of shit, and I refuse to share the same space as you.”
“Can you believe this man?” Stella asked Arianna. “We were married for 25 years, and he thinks he can be over me just like that.”
Arianna held back a smirk. She felt terrible for the desperate woman. Of course, Pierce wasn’t thinking about Stella any longer, but that wasn’t her place
to say.
“Look, believe what you want, but you’re supposed to be going by Stella Wiesmann, not White. So don’t let me catch you again,” Pierce warned.
Arianna crossed her legs underneath her desk and busied herself with typing a nonsensical email to herself to prevent her from physically fanning her face. Arianna already had to ditch her panties earlier after their previous encounter, and she was getting hot and bothered watching Pierce put his ex in
her place.
“If you’re so over me like you claim to be, then my presence shouldn’t bother you. I’m actually surprised you’re not holed up in the house staring blankly at the ceiling…pathetic,” Stella scoffed.
Stella returned her attention to the young girl with the sassy mouth and was pissed that she still hadn’t summoned a manager. She would have to get her
fired.
“I asked for a manager. Why isn’t he here?” Stella snarled.
“That won’t be necessary, Ms. Wiesmann. You are not even a member of Elite SA, and you are already behaving hostile towards one of our new members. We at Elite SA do not condone hostility or intimidation. I’m sorry, but I don’t think you’ll be a good fit for us. Have a wonderful day,” Arianna said, dismissing the redheaded woman.
Stella began to cackle. She found it amusing that this nobody could deny her. The little girl undoubtedly overestimated her value and needed brought back to reality.
“This is the last time I’ll ask for a manager, or I’ll-”

Chapter 13
Arianna was over Stella’s presence since she walked in the door. Arlanna feared that she would slip and have a moment if Stella did not femor from the property.
“You’ll what?” Arianna challenged, standing to her feet and crossing her arms over her chest.
Pierce wanted to intervene again, but he found Arianna standing up to his ex–wife was sexy, arid he wanted to see how this thing played out. Pierce knew that Arianna had Stella by the balls when Arianna cocked her head to the side, waiting for Stella to say something.
“You can either leave peacefully, or I’ll be forced to call security, and you better make up your mind within the next three seconds,” Arianna challenged.
“I will be back!” Stella sneered. “And once I’m done, I can’t say the same for you!” Stella whirled around on her heels and stormed out of the club with that final warning.
Fuck that little brat and Pierce. I will obtain a membership, and neither of them can stop me.
Arianna let out a low whistle. “I’m surprised you made it out alive and with all of your money.”
“Yeah, no shit, but fuck her. Can we talk about how hot it was watching you handle my ex–wife?”
“There’s nothing to talk about. She was disrespectful to one of our members, and I wasn’t going to tolerate it. She’s not Elite SA material,” Arianna huffed.
“I get it. You gotta protect what’s yours.”
“Mine?” Arianna questioned with raised eyebrows.
“Don’t play dumb, Ari. You got me running around here showing you divorce decrees and calling my divorce attorney to verify that I’m single just to get your damn phone number. You’ve touched my body, and let me touch you in a place I’m sure that no man has ever touched you before. You know you want me just as much as I want you. And before you even open that pretty mouth of yours to accuse me of wanting to just fuck you, you might as well shut up. I, Pierce Weston White, am officially courting you, Arianna–wait; what’s your middle name?”
“Rose.”
“Beautiful. I, Pierce Weston White, am officially courting you, Arianna Rose Carter. Do you accept?”
“What does this “courting” entail?” Arianna questioned.
“You’ll see. Do you accept?”
“I, Arianna Rose Carter, accept your request to court me officially.”
“As you should. I’ll call you later, Ari,” Pierce promised, walking out of the club.
