Chapter 79
I could feel the connection between us deepening with each passing moment. Sage wasn’t just a voice In my head–she was part of my soul, my strength, my instincts.
“Thank you,” I managed to say, my voice filled with awe.
The Goddess turned to Jace. “Alpha, enter the light. Show her your Primal form.”
Jace stepped into the radiance without hesitation. His transformation was swift and powerful–dark fur spreading across his massive frame as he took his Primal form. Where he had stood was now a magnificent beast, half man, half wolf, towering over even my enhanced height.
His eyes locked with mine, and I felt Sage’s approval.
Our mate, she whispered. Strong. Worthy.
“What happens now?” I asked, still marveling at the sound of my own transformed voice.
The Goddess smiled, but it wasn’t comforting. “Now,” she said, “the real test begins.”
JACE
I stepped forward, still in my Primal form. My muscles rippled with power unlike anything I’d ever
experienced before. Every sense heightened to impossible levels. The scent of pine needles. The
distant call of a night bird. Aria’s quickened heartbeat.
I moved toward her slowly, giving her time to absorb my appearance. This was her first time seeing
my Primal form with her own eyes. Seven feet tall, covered in midnight fur, half–man, half–wolf–I
knew what I looked like. A monster from human nightmares.
Massive. Towering. My head nearly brushed the lowest branches. My shoulders twice as broad as any
man’s. Claws black as obsidian. Jaws that could crush bone. Eyes burning amber in the night.
Aria stood there in her own Primal form–silver–white fur gleaming like starlight, nearly matching my height. Her wolf eyes met mine with an intensity that took my breath away.
I reached out, extending a massive clawed hand toward her face. The silver glow around her enhanced form made her appear otherworldly, blessed by the Moon Goddess herself. My claw gently touched her furred cheek. She leaned into the contact, her wolf form radiating trust and wonder
rather than fear.
The Goddess watched us, allowing this moment. The connection between us strengthened, something deeper than physical touch flowing between our souls–wolf to wolf, mate to mate.

Chapter 79
After what felt like both seconds and hours, the Goddess placed her hands gently on our shoulders.
“It is time to speak,” she said softly.
I nodded and closed my eyes, focusing on shifting back. The transformation was quicker, smoother than it had ever been. Beside me, I sensed Aria doing the same, her silver light dimming as she
returned to human form.
When I opened my eyes again, I stood in human form. Eliana had thoughtfully placed clothes nearby -fresh jeans and a shirt for me, a simple dress for Aria. We quickly dressed, the mundane act feeling strange after such a profound transformation.
Aria fell into my arms once we were clothed, and I held her tightly, pressing my lips against her forehead. Her body trembled slightly against mine.
“You okay, babe?” I asked, concern flooding through me.
She pulled back just enough to look into my eyes. “I’m fine… just feel strange. Like… I’m different
now.”
“That’s because you are different now, child,” the Moon Goddess stated, her voice musical yet
powerful.
I immediately straightened my posture. “Moon Goddess, forgive my disrespect.”
“No apologies needed,” she replied with a gentle smile. “I’m pleased to see how you treasure each other. True mates truly are miraculous.”
Gabriel stood several feet away, his face a mixture of awe and concern.
The Goddess gestured for us to sit on stone seats that hadn’t been there moments before. “There is much you need to know.”
We sat together, my arm protectively around Aria’s shoulders.
“Jace Carter,” the Goddess began, “I need to tell you something important. Something big.”
She looked straight at me, her eyes intense and searching.
