Seraphina’s heart raced as she secretly observed Kane’s expression, seeing him appear calm without revealing add emotions.
Mrs. Thorne blurted out, “She seduced my mate!”
Kane’s amber eyes remained deep and unreadable.
Lucas stepped forward and approached Kane. “Alpha Ravencrest, I apologize for this disruption. Our private matters will be handled appropriately.”
Lucas reached out to drag Aria away from the scene.
Kane’s gaze sharpened dangerously as he stared at Aria. “Did you seduce him?”
Aria sneered, her wolf bristling at the accusation. “If working in the same building counts as seduction, then Dr. Thorne and Ms. Cross have been getting very close recently. Are they also suspected of having an affair?”
Lucas’s face changed dramatically. “What are you implying! Ms. Cross is Alpha Ravencrest’s mate! Do you think she was as shameless as you!”
