Her heart suddenly tightened, and she frowned. “Alpha Ravencrest, what are you doing here?”
Kane lifted his amber eyes without continuing to read. “What does this work handover document you’ve written mean? Art you resigning?”
Aría suddenly remembered that she had left her computer files open when she went out.

“It’s just a transfer,” she said calmly, walking to her desk to put away the documents.
Kane stopped her movement. “Where are you transferring to?”
“Crescent Moon Medical Center.”
“Who authorized you to make this decision?”
She paused, lifted her head, and said, “I don’t want to work under the same roof as certain people. Can’t I transfer voluntarily?”
Kane leaned back in his chair, studying her serious expression, and chuckled coldly. “Do you think transferring will help you escape?”
“Aria, if you really can’t tolerate the situation here, just resign completely. With your status as Luna of the Ravencrest Pack, even if you do nothing, you won’t lack food or comfort. Isn’t this what you originally wanted?”
The Luna position brings wealth and power.
