She smiled and linked her arm with his possessively. “Kane, will you accompany me to pick up Jasper tonight? Maybe we can
grab dinner together on the way?”

Mentioning the scandal, Seraphina involuntarily tensed.

Seraphina let go of his arm, looking guilty with perfectly practiced remorse. “Kane, I only found out about the photos today too. I didn’t expect that you accompanying me to pick up Jasper would be misinterpreted by someone with ill intentions. I’m really sorry for involving you in this scandal.”
