After instructing the bodyguard at the door, Sergio went back to report to Javier. Similarly, Javier had already guessed Aria’s intention to borrow someone from him.
“Alpha, the Ashworth Pack, with their ordinary pack level, are not considered prominent in Boston. But who could they have possibly offended to require our protection?” Sergio was also surprised.

Javier picked up his coffee cup and took a sip, “I remember Shadowbite Medical was owned by Lunar Dynamics Medical, all part of the Ravencrest Pack’s business, right?”

He set down his cup, “So that’s related to the Ravencrest Pack.”
Sergio was surprised, “Did they offend the Ravencrest Pack?”
“I don’t think she offended anyone,” Javier walked to the window and gazed at the tall buildings in the distance, “Maybe there is some history between them, and she wants to break free from this relationship.”
“Alpha, how long have you known Ms. Ashworth? It feels like you know her very well.”
Javier lowered his eyelids and said, “I don’t know either, she always gives me a very friendly feeling…” He was very clear that was the feeling of kindred spirits transcended gender, as if they were supposed to be familiar with each other. Something deeper stirred in his wolf consciousness, a recognition that went beyond mere attraction.
The next day, several luxury cars were parked downstairs at the hospital.
