Chapter 354
Seraphina stood there, her smile slowly turning into a frozen expression.
Before she could react, Aria looked at Rowan and said, “Rowan, I’m heading back to the office first.”
Rowan nodded and watched Aria get into the elevator.
Aria’s right arm was healing, so she couldn’t hold a scalpel yet. The hospital director arranged for her to cancel all surgeries for the time being and only do preoperative consultations.
She asked her colleague to check the department’s surveillance, but unfortunately, the cameras couldn’t capture the hallway. Also, people from both upstairs and downstairs have been in and out, making it difficult to narrow down who pushed her.
Meanwhile, Lady Grimfang was discharged from the hospital and asked to see Aria.
Lucian sat on the side helping his mate pack her bags.
“Dr. Ashworth, you’re here,” Lady Grimfang said with a gentle smile, calling her to the bedside. “Thanks to your surgery, I’m
much better now.”
Aria answered politely. “That’s my duty. As long as you didn’t feel any discomfort.”
“Dr. Ashworth, have you considered working in another hospital?”
Aria was taken aback suddenly. Before she could ask, Lady Grimfang continued, “Royal Lycan Hospital in Portland is pretty good. It’s the best hospital in Portland, the benefits are not worse than Silverstone Medical Center.”
Aria pursed her lips. She had heard about this hospital back in college.
Royal Lycan Hospital is where the top experts work, and their medical technology is quite advanced. Their hospital mainly focuses on treating difficult and complicated cases. If other hospitals can’t handle a disease, going to there is like finding the right remedy.
But the requirements to get into Royal Lycan Hospital are quite high. They only accept 120 clinical master students each year. They have very high requirements for evidence–based medicine and case analysis abilities.
“With my condition, Royal Lycan Hospital probably wouldn’t accept me.”
“How is that possible?” Lady Grimfang exclaimed. “The tumor in my brain had even stumped the doctors at Royal Lycan Hospital, and they couldn’t even guarantee surgery without damaging my nerves. But you did it.”
Lady Grimfang held her hand and said, I’ve asked Dr. Marcus, and he said you were the top student in all medical schools in this territory. At your such age, you were able to perform a brainstem tumor resection surgery during your internship. Just based on this achievement, getting into Royal Lycan Hospital is a piece of cake.”
Aria went silent.
Royal Lycan Hospital–of course, she wanted to go.
The benefits were great. A great deal of experience could be gained. How could she not be tempted?
Back then, she put in three years at Silverstone Medical Center for Kane. Since she’s leaving now, she should choose what she
wants.
“So should I talk to Dr. Marcus?”
Getting her answer, Lady Grimfang smiled and told her mate to give her their contact information. “Remember to contact me once you’ve talked to the dean.”
Aria saved the contact information and chatted with Lady Grimfang for a while before leaving.
Few moments later, Lucian finally packed his mate’s luggage, saw her in a good mood, sat down on the bed, and asked in curious, “Why you like that girl so much, huh?”
Lady Grimfang leaned on his shoulder. “Don’t you think this kid looks like someone?”
“Like who?” Lucian couldn’t think of anyone.
“Lexie.”
