Chapter 218
Chapter 218
In the ward, Eliana spoke up, “Isaac, this is Samuel. He’s here to-”
Samuel cut Eliana off. “Let me
speak.”
The next second, Samuel turned to Isaac with a beaming smile and said, “I’m here to perform some magic for you. Do you want to become even more handsome than before?”
“Become more handsome?” Isaac touched his face and nodded vigorously. “Yes! I want to!”
Just then, Prof. Cameron Walker arrived.
Noticing that Samuel was also wearing a white coat and was someone he didn’t recognize, Cameron instinctively turned to Eliana and asked, “Who is he?”
Clearly, no competent doctor wanted anyone meddling in their treatment.
At the same time, Samuel raised an eyebrow and asked, “So, this is the guy Anthony brought in?”
Eliana nodded and said, “He’s a leading professor of surgery from Novaria. Would you like me to introduce you two?”
Samuel flashed a mysterious smile and said, “No need. I’ll talk to him myself.”
The two of them immediately launched into a rapid–fire discussion full of medical jargon. Finding it hard to flow, Eliana decided to leave them to it and
went off to get some breakfast.
When they finally stopped talking, Eliana immediately asked, “Dr. Wilson, how did it go?”
Samuel rubbed his chin, shot Eliana a “hold your horses” look, then turned to Isaac with a grave expression and said, “This foreign quack thinks you’re
beyond saving.
“He wants to cut you open, harvest your organs for those in need, then stitch you back up and turn you into a mummy. So, what do you think?”
Isaac let out a blood–curdling scream, his face going pale. He was deathly afraid of ghost stories.
Cameron couldn’t help but reach out his hand and ask with concern, “Hey, are you okay?”
“Get away. Don’t touch me,” Isaac shrieked in terror, recoiling from Cameron’s outstretched hand as if the professor were about to cut him open.
After that confused exchange, Samuel shrugged at Cameron with feigned regret and said, “Looks like he doesn’t trust your medical expertise.”
Cameron wanted to say more, but seeing Isaac bury his head under the pillow like a frightened child, he could only turn and head toward the female
teachers‘ ward.
Samuel immediately followed.
As for Eliana, she had to stay behind to comfort Isaac and couldn’t follow them.
Since the female teachers could all understand Cameron’s language, Samuel could only introduce himself and then stand by, watching as Cameron
examined their burn wounds.
When Cameron began examining the more intimate areas, Samuel leaned in and whispered to the female teacher, “Wow, look at that pervy gleam in his eyes. Your injury is by your ribs–so why is he staring at your chest like that?”
The female teacher flushed crimson with embarrassment, stammering, “R–Really? Is that so?”
Samuel replied, “Don’t believe me? See for yourself.”

The female teacher then cast a wary glance at Cameron.
Having just been rebuffed by Isaac, Cameron forced a smile at the female teacher in an attempt to appear more approachable
Samuel added, “See? Even his smile is downright lecherous.”
‘Wait… Could it really be true?‘ the female teacher wondered.
Samuel leaned in and continued, “You know, I’ve heard some shady doctors take liberties with female patients once they’re under anesthesia if he’s already this handsy with you now, who knows what he might try during surgery?”
The female teacher shuddered in disgust and horror.
“Imagine being taken advantage of by a man old enough to be your father… Tsk!” Samuel trailed off with a pained expression, as if the very thought was too awful to put into words.
The female teacher’s face turned ashen with horror.
After all these maneuvers, Samuel successfully ousted Cameron and was honorably given the job.
