Chapter 47
The group came upstakes. Just before leading the renovation team into the room, Eliana turned to Theodore and said, “Mr. Busset, the workers are here Do you want to step out for a hit?”
Theodore glanced toward the door and saw several y
young men standing outside Duiven by his possessiveness, he replied, “No need I’ll stay here.
Eliana insisted, “But what if dust gets into your eyes? That wouldn’t be good.”
Theodore held out his hand to her and said, “Help me over to that comer.”
Seeing that he’d rather sit farther away than leave the room, Eliana compromised. “Alright, but if your eyes start to feel even the slightest bit uncomfortable, you have to tell me, okay?”
Theodore gave a soft nod
Once Elana helped settle him in place, Eliana turned to the workers at the door and said, “Please get it started.”
With a thunderous boom, people in the entire house seemed to shake Startled, several people came rushing to see what had happened.
When they saw Eliana directing the renovation team to smash a large hole into one of the walls, they stood frozen in disbelief just outside the doorway.
Everyone silently questioned the same thing. Wasn’t it said that ever since Mr. Theodore Russell went blind, he hated going outside and being exposed to light?
“Now that Mrs. Eliana Russell has torn down an entire wall, isn’t he going to fly into a rage?”
But just as everyone expected a storm to break, Eliana’s confident voice rang out. “Please tear down the entire wall.”
The pounding resumed, louder and more jarring with each strike, until the clamor reached the living room downstairs and made Lainey squirm in her seat.
However, she agreed with Elians to fix the room, and Eliana footed the bill herself, so Lainey had no legitimate reason to object. Still, this transformation was far from what she’d wanted
After some time, the workers finished demolishing the wall and were taking measurements. One of them brought over a design sketch of the future floor- to ceiling window for Eliana’s approval.
When Theodore saw her unintentionally standing a little too close to a stranger, his expression turned dark. He interrupted, “Eliana, where are they now
in the process?
Eliana looked up and saw him sitting there alone. Her heart softened as she replied, “They are showing me some options. How about I describe them to you, and we can pick one together?”
“Alright.” Theodore agreed.
Eliana turned to the man beside her and said, “Just a moment.” Then, she took the sketch and walked over to Theodore.
She squatted down beside his chair and patiently began to describe the details of the window design to him.
Outside the room, a group of maids peeked if and whispered among themselves in amazement.
One of the maids said, “Don’t you think, well, Mr. Theodore Russell seems really well–behaved?”

“That’s not being well–behaved. That’s doling. Since I started working here, I’ve never seen him bother with anything this trivial,”
“Maybe he’s just bored. But still, he doesn’t look nearly as scary like this,” someone else said,
m tone, “Let’s go with this one.”
Inside the room, after listening quietly for some time, Theodore finally said in his usual calent
“I like it too. Let’s pick it.” Eliana smiled, placed the chosen design on top of the stack, and stood up–only to wobble and lose her balance from squatting
too long.
She tipped sideways and fell straight onto Theodore, Instinctively, he wanted to catch her, but knowing he couldn’t risk revealing too much, he could only sit there helplessly as she collapsed onto him.
“Oh, I’m so sorry.” Eliana instantly scrambled off him, worriedly rubbing his chest where she’d bumped,
Seeing her panic, Theodore suddenly felt a mischievous urge rise. He leased, “it’s not time to sleep yet, and you’re already throwing yourself into my arms?”
