When Olivia once again discovered my existence and caused an earth became unprecedentedly
cold.
He said, “Olivia, let’s call off the engagement.”

Olivia looked at him in disbelief.
“Lucas, are you abandoning our child?”
Lucas rubbed his temples wearily: “Are you going to keep up this act?”
The pregnancy test was fake.
Actually, when I first saw that social media post in Lucas’s car, I knew it had to be fake.
I was Lucas’s caretaker. No one knew better than me what medications he took every day.
Just by slightly adjusting the dosage and mixing some combinations, it would have
some…interesting little effects on his body.
For instance, making it impossible for him to have children.
But I didn’t expose Olivia’s lie.
I wanted her to fight, to feel triumphant, to thoroughly enjoy her happiness.
Then fall into the hell I had prepared for her.
Just like this time, no matter how Olivia cried and made a scene, even starving herself and self–harming, Lucas didn’t show the slightest emotion.
He firmly called off the engagement.
Then announced he was going to marry me.
There was huge public backlash. Many people cursed Lucas as a scumbag who used and discarded women, and me as a shameless homewrecker.
Unfortunately, as two mentally ill people, Lucas and I were completely’t care less about any of this.
On the day Lucas and I got engaged, Olivia showed up at the venue.
She stood on the rooftop, begging Lucas to look at her one last time.
“Lucas, I can’t live without your love.”

“If you’re going to marry someone else, I’d rather jump from here.”
This tactic had always worked before, because Lucas did have feelings for her after all.
But now, those feelings were used up.
Lucas was someone who hated being threatened more than anything.
He stood below, spreading his arms wide, flashing an utterly insane smile: “Come on then, Olivia. If you’re going to jump to jump, jump. I’ll catch you!”
Seeing Olivia not jumping for a long while.
Lucas gave an “I knew it” look and turned to leave.
The next second, there was a loud thud behind him, followed by dead silence, then countless
screams.
Lucas froze.
He turned back mechanically.
Olivia lay on the ground like a broken rag doll.
I stood beside Lucas, wiping the blood that had splattered on my face.
I was innocent.
Olivia fell on her own. I didn’t push her.
I just…loosened the rooftop railing beforehand, that’s all.
