Zackery went downstairs, eagerly searching around for Grace’s figure, but found nothing.
He furrowed his brows and turned to look at Evelyn standing beside him, his tone carrying a hint of questioning.
“Where is Grace? Where did she go?”
Evelyn’s face flashed with a hint of unease, and then she put on a look of grievance.
“She treated me so unreasonably, as soon as we met, she would get angry at me and scold me. After scolding me, she angrily walked away, and I have no idea where she went.” Evelyn said, while gently wiping the corners of her eyes with a handkerchief, trying to show her innocence.
Zackery, however, was not deceived by her acting skills.
He knew who Grace was, and by looking at the living room, he knew that Grace had been wronged.
Zackery’s gaze was sharp as a knife.
“Ms. White, Grace was my beloved, and I knew she wasn’t like this. What did you do to her?”
Evelyn was stung by Zackery’s words, and a hint of embarrassment and anger showed on her face, but she still pre- tended to remain calm.
“What can I do? It was she who inexplicably got angry herself. Why do you only believe her and not me?”
Zackery was too lazy to continue arguing with her, so he turned around and was about to leave. Seeing this, Lina hur- riedly stepped forward to stop him.
“Zackery, where are you going? Evelyn is your fiancée, don’t act impulsively for an unrelated woman.”
Zackery stopped in his tracks and looked at his mother, his eyes filled with determination.
“Mom, Grace is not a stranger to me, she was my beloved, and I wanted to marry her.”
After saying that, he disregarded his mother’s obstruction and decisively rushed out.
And at this moment, Grace was plunged into darkness.
She was kidnapped by Yesenia and locked in a dim and damp abandoned warehouse.
After a series of setbacks, Yesenia had lost everything. She spent her last bit of money to bribe the guard and escaped, all in order to find Grace and go down with her.
“Grace, didn’t you expect this day would come? It’s all because of you that I ended up in this situation!”
“What do you have everything for? Why?”

Yesenia stared at Grace fiercely, her eyes gleaming with madness.

Grace looked at Yesenia, who was almost going crazy in front of her. She had become so thin that she was unrecog- nizable, the once elegant and artistic woman seemed to have turned into a complete lunatic.
But she said something wrong.
She had nothing, Yesenia had nothing, and she too had nothing.
Seeing no response from her, Yesenia’s anger intensified in her eyes. She ruthlessly kicked Grace, her expression sin-
ister.
“I lost everything, all thanks to you and Antonio!”
“You said, if he had to choose between himself and you, who would he choose?”
Grace kept backing away, her back already pressed against the cold wall, with nowhere to escape.
She silently prayed in her heart that Zackery would find her soon, but with the obstruction of her biological parents, would Zackery really come to find her?
Everything was unknown.
Yesenia dragged her to the edge of the cliff and hung her with only one rope.
She laughed wildly.
“Grace, you were really amazing, making two men love you so passionately.”
“Knowing that you were in my hands, they were so desperate that they were about to jump up, hahaha. Anyway, they will all die in the end, so why not have a laugh before dying?”
The cold sea breeze made Grace’s face ache, and she wished Zackery would come, but she didn’t want Zackery to get into danger.
And Antonio… she didn’t know how to face him.
