Chapter 14

Magnus frowned deeply as he inserted the USB drive into his computer.

The screen lit up, revealing several video files.

He clicked the first one-the footage was shaky, apparently secretly recorded.

In the video, a woman kicked an unconscious elderly person off a cliff.

Despite the dim night lighting, Magnus immediately recognized the woman as Odessa.

And the elderly person was wearing the same clothes Marion had been wearing the last time he saw her.

That day, she had clearly promised to send Marion to the hospital for treatment. Why had this happened?

His breathing hitched as he tremblingly clicked the second video.

This time, the image was crystal clear.

The location was the bathroom of the apartment he’d arranged for Sierra.

Odessa laughed grotesquely as she poured all the ashes from a white porcelain urn into the toilet, then pressed the flush button.

So this was the truth!

He had actually brutally hurt Sierra for a murderer, a demon who would even desecrate the ashes of the dead…

He punched the expensive mahogany desk, his knuckles instantly bleeding.

He immediately pulled up the surveillance footage from that apartment.

Everything matched the video exactly.

Odessa’s evil acts, Sierra’s despair, Eli’s cries, and his own brutality-all clearly recorded.

Rage and regret intertwined in his chest, madly gnawing at his sanity.

He returned to Love Dessa Estate and displayed all the videos before Odessa.

“Someone has these dirty secrets of yours. The blackmailer has already contacted me.”

Odessa turned pale with shock, pleading in panic.

“Magnus! You have to help me! I don’t want to go to prison! Find a way to suppress this!”

“Fine.” Magnus said slowly. “I’ll handle it for you. But what price are you willing to pay?”

Odessa pointed to her stomach. “I gave up having children for you back then. I’ve sacrificed my entire life to you-isn’t that enough?”

“Enough, of course it’s enough.” Magnus began laughing lowly, a sound that made Odessa shiver inexplicably.

“I’ll take you to the hospital for an examination to confirm whether you actually have fertility issues. If it’s not as you claimed, then leave your uterus behind!”

Odessa’s face went white as a sheet.

“I was wrong! Magnus, I was really wrong! The kidnapping was planned by my father, and the infertility was a lie!”

Magnus approached step by step, his tall figure looming over her.

Odessa shrank back in terror until her back hit the cold wall with nowhere left to retreat.

He leaned to her ear, his voice soft as a devil’s whisper.

“You’ve been lying to me all this time. You lost the ability to be a mother for me. Since you love this excuse so much, let me help you make it reality, okay?”

He straightened up and instructed the bodyguards at the door: “Take Odessa to the hospital. Tell the gynecological surgeon I want her

uterus removed.”

“No-!” Odessa let out a piercing scream.

She finally realized Magnus wasn’t joking!

She crawled and tumbled to Magnus’s feet, hugging his legs and begging desperately.

“I only loved you too much! Please, spare me this once! I’ll have children for you-I’ll give you a child smarter and more lovable than

Eli, okay?”

Magnus slowly crouched down, gripping her chin and forcing her to look at him.

In his eyes burned the madness and hatred that consumed everything.

“That won’t work,” he tilted his head, smiling with infinite cruelty. “I personally got a vasectomy for you, after all.”

Magnus stood up and waved his hand, signaling them to act.

Two bodyguards dragged Odessa to the car. The door slammed shut, cutting off her heart-wrenching sobs and pleas.

Watching the car roar away, Magnus lit a cigarette.

White smoke swirled, blurring his handsome yet twisted face.

He took out his phone and dialed the police.

“Hello, I want to report someone blackmailing me for one hundred million. I have the evidence.”
