Actually, when I helped Tiffany settle her accident case last time, Julian and I had some good interactions.
There wasn’t a trace of the spoiled rich kid in him; he was gentle, refined, and incredibly intelligent.

My confused gaze met Julian’s intense one. He gently squeezed my fingers.

I was already completely bewildered by the sudden turn of events.

did she do it?”
Tiffany was silenced, her mouth clamped shut.
Julian scoffed dismissively, “Because she has a sister like you, and parents who are
worse than beasts.”
Seeing no room for further argument, Tiffany started acting crazy, getting up to rush
towards the buffet table to smash things.
But she hadn’t even made it off the stage before security grabbed her by the hair and
dragged her out.
As I stared dumbfounded at everything, Julian gently put his arm around my shoulders.
“Audrey, say yes, will you? I’ll give you a lifetime of happiness.”
