Benjamin Luther had naturally heard of Oceania Group and Chris Jovian, but this was the first time he had met him in
person.
“Mr. Jovian, my pleasure. What can I help you with?”
“Now, the Azure Star Residence project belongs to Oceania Group, so please have Sunpeak Construction withdraw immediately.”
“What?” He was stunned.
Benjamin Luther looked at his wife.
Mrs. Luther said coldly, “Isn’t this all caused by your mistress? I’ll settle the score with you when we get back.
“How dare you mess around behind my back and even lose the Azure Star Residence project, damn it!”
Benjamin couldn’t say anything.
Oceania Group always got what they wanted.
Mrs. Luther had no other choice but to give up the project.
Soon, the people from Sunpeak Construction left the site, and another team quickly took over.
Chris looked around the desk, tapping his fingers rhythmically.
After a while, Isabel came in.
“Boss, you’re here.” Chris beamed.
“Is everything taken care of?” Isabel asked.
“Yes, it’s just Azure Star Residence. It was easy to handle. Even if you wanted to acquire Sunpeak Construction, it wouldn’t be a problem.
“Now Benjamin and his wife can only leave Ardenfall in disgrace.”
They were originally from out of town and only recently came to Ardenfall to work on the project.
So Benjamin thought that as long as he kept it from his wife, he could fool around outside.
Now he had offended his wife and lost the project. He was in for it now.
“It’s just… This project is likely to lose money. With what Benjamin did to it, are you still willing to take on this mess? Aren’t you worried about losing money?”
Isabel glanced at him. “Do you think I can’t afford to lose?”
“Well… That’s not what I meant. You’ve been paying off the Clyde family’s huge debts for years, let alone a small project like Azure Star Residence.”
“Alright, just get a position for my brother. As long as he’s happy working here, that’s all that matters.

Brother? So the boss is doing all this for his family again. She used to give everything to the Clyde family and ended up being kicked out. ‘Now she’s doing it again for the Galvez family. Is it worth it?‘ pondered Chris.
Though Chris was puzzled, he was willing to listen to Isabel. After all, if it weren’t for Isabel, he wouldn’t be where he is today.
“Boss, why don’t we let your brother be the project manager?” Chris asked.
“No, he’s not very bright. He’s good at working on the site, but not leadership material.” Isabel flatly refused.
“Then… Foreman?”
“No, the foreman needs to supervise the project. He can’t do that.”
Chris didn’t know what to say.
After some thought, Chris Jovian asked again, “How about security guard? Or head of security?”
“Head of security captain it is, then. I think he’s a good fit.”
“Then it’s settled. I’ll have someone arrange it right away.”
“Okay.”
Isabel had originally wanted her brother to be a manager or something, but he just wasn’t cut out for it.
If he were more capable, she could have even handed the entire site over to him.

Alex was still chatting with his fellow workers. Suddenly, the management staff came over.
“Who is Alex Galvez?”
“Me!” Alex quickly raised his hand.
His sister had told him to wait here and someone would arrange a job for him.
‘Come with me.”
Alex followed the manager to the office.
“Mr. Galvez, from now on, you are the head of security of our construction site. This is your uniform.”
“Sir, are… Are you sure? Me? The head of security?” Alex couldn’t believe it.
“Yes, everyone knows that you are strong, so I’ll leave the security of the construction site to you. In addition, I’ll have someone assist you.”
“Then… Then how much does a head of security make in a month?” Alex asked honestly.
The manager smiled. “Twenty thousand dollars a month.”
Alex widened his eyes, and he immediately counted on his fingers.

He used to be the lowest–level laborer at the construction site, earning only a few hundred dollars a month. Now he was making twenty thousand dollars!
“I… I’m rich!” Alex was shocked.
“Alex” Isabel came over just then.
“Isabel, they asked me to be the head of security, and they gave me 20000 dollars a month. I’m lucky, right?” Alex asked.
“Well, it must be because you are excellent that they promoted you exceptionally. Alex, you’ll have to work hard.”
“Okay. I’ll definitely work hard!” Alex was suddenly full of confidence.
Seeing his happy expression, Isabel felt relieved.
Alex changed into the uniform, and his presence instantly improved.
“Alex, you look great in this outfit. Mom and Dad will be so happy when we get back.”
In the evening, Isabel and Alex returned home. Alex immediately announced that he had been promoted to be the head of security.
Hannah couldn’t believe it.
Her foolish son was lucky to have found a job as a bricklayer. Guess no one would ever make him a head of security.
“Mom, what Alex said is true. Look at his clothes.” Isabel said.
With Isabel’s testimony, Hannah and the others finally believed it. “Alex, you have made it. You really made your parents proud.” Hannah said with satisfaction.
The whole family was happy for Alex.
Jack praised Alex for being more capable than himself. Roy said Alex’s salary was even higher than hers. They said Alex was the most successful person in the family.
Alex couldn’t be happier. He immediately picked up Roy and spun her around, and laughter filled the room.
While they were happy, Isabel took the medicine and went to Blake’s room.
“Here’s the antidote I prepared for you. Take it for a few days, and the poison in your body will be gone.” Isabel carefully fed it to him.
“Thank you. I must admit, you truly are a miracle worker.” Blake was now convinced. He hadn’t paid much attention before.
“By the way, did you secretly help my brother?” Blake asked. He had heard everything that had happened outside.
“Yes, I just wanted them to be happier.” Isabel admitted.
“They are really happy and easily satisfied. Maybe this is happiness.” Blake muttered.
He envied them.
“By the way, does your family never come to see you? You have been gone for so long. That caretaker should have informed

Blake Yates smiled bitterly. “If they cared, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
Isabel didn’t understand why Blake’s family was so heartless.
“What happened to you before? Why are you like this?” Isabel asked.
“Isabel, I don’t want to talk about it now. When I get better, I’ll tell you everything.”
Isabel understood and didn’t press further.
Anyway, she only saved him because her master told her to.
