All the auction participants left the scene, cursing and swearing.
Each one wore the angry expression of someone who’d been played for a fool, and before leaving. they didn’t forget to threaten Ryan, warning him to watch his back.
Everyone believed this had been a farce staged by us as a quarreling couple with relationship. problems, and we had made fools of everyone else.
The humiliated high–rollers were seething with rage.
They were all waiting for the chance to get their revenge someday.
Ryan desperately tried to explain, but no one would listen to him.
When finally only the three of us remained, he suddenly seemed to realize something and whipped
his head toward me.
His eyes were as vicious as a demon’s, cruel and bloodthirsty, as if he wanted to lunge at me and
tear me apart.
Coral broke down in tears, feeling like she too had been played by Ryan.
But Ryan had no time for Coral now. All his fury was directed at me.
“Claire, what the hell did you do? There’s no way you could still have that much money. Have you
been betraying me?”
“You’ve been cheating on me, haven’t you? There’s someone else helping you, isn’t there?!”
I kept my cold gaze fixed on Ryan’s disgusting face.
The hatred surging inside me churned until it reached its breaking point.
Then I suddenly grabbed the iron chains that had been removed from my hands and hurled them at him with all my strength.
With a cry of pain, Ryan’s forehead was instantly split open, bright red blood flowing down his
contorted face.

Coral was terrified and instinctively tried to run away.
But my anger unleashed endless energy within me. I yanked up the heavy chains and hurled them in the direction of her escape.
A direct hit.
She screamed and fell to the ground, blood beginning to flow from the back of her head, matting her long hair into a sticky mess.
The crowd that had just left heard the commotion and turned back to look.
They were startled by the bloody scene inside.
Like a madwoman, I grabbed everything I could lift and threw it all at Ryan.
He screamed, “Someone help! Where are all the security guards? Come quickly and restrain this
woman!”
“I paid for this entire event! You’re supposed to protect me!”
But no matter how much he screamed, no one appeared.
Ryan was completely dumbfounded. He looked at me again in terror, covering his wound and
raising his arms to protect his head.
“Claire, I’m your husband! Have you lost your mind?!”
I laughed maniacally and lunged forward, grabbing his collar forcefully.
Rage distorted my voice:
“Yes, I have lost my mind! You still remember you’re my husband?”
“From the moment you betrayed me and tried to have me killed, I went insane!”
After saying this, I turned my head toward Coral, who was struggling to crawl away.
I pounced on her and slapped her face viciously.
Again and again, until her face swelled up like a pig’s head, with blood flowing from her nose and mouth.
