Chapter 22 Asking for Trouble
Elizabeth’s furious roar echoed through the office.
“Edward, have the legal department draft two divorce agreements for me. I’m going out!”
Divorce agreements!
Edward’s face instantly changed upon hearing those words.
He didn’t need to think twice to know that Elizabeth was
determined to divorce Julian.
But hadn’t Mr. Thornton visited last night? Hadn’t they reconciled?
The next moment, Edward stopped himself from speculating. about Elizabeth’s personal affairs and respectfully nodded before leaving the room.
Ten minutes later, two copies of the divorce agreement between Julian and Elizabeth were delivered to the office.
Elizabeth grabbed the documents with an icy expression and left the building, heading straight for Julian’s fire station.
“Julian, you think you can match my resolve? Hah, you’re just asking for trouble,” she muttered. “I’ll show you exactly who will end up humiliated!”
