He didn’t even bother turning off the engine as he stormed toward the villa, rage bunting in his
chest.
Just as he stepped inside, he heard a woman’s flirtatious laugh, followed by a man’s lewd chuckle
Thanks to you for leaking the details of his injury and swearing I saved him–now that Elena is out of the picture, both Tumer brothers are mine. I get to be Professor Caleb’s wife and back in the power of Caleb, the underworld king. Who would dare look down on me now?
Through the door’s gap, Caleb saw the driver’s hand trailing over Elena. She didn’t resist–she looked delighted.
The driver laughed shamelessly. “How do you plan to repay me? I risked my life to lie for you You know the boss–if he ever finds out the one who saved him seven years ago was actually Elena, and that he abused his true savior for years because of you, he’ll tear me apart.”
“And that night, I followed your orders–locked her in the water dungeon, stuck needles under her nails one by one. Didn’t expect the bitch to hold out. Even after a whole night of torture, she didn’t crack
“But it doesn’t matter how tough she was–now she’s fish food.”
“Don’t worry. If that slut could get pregnant, so can I Give Caleb two more days to grieve, and he’ll come crawling to me.”
The sound of fabric ripping came next, followed by Elena’s shriek. ‘Ah! What are you doing?” “They can’t give you a kid–let me help you out! The driver’s voice turned more perverse.
“Stop it, you!” Elena whimpered, half playful, half protesting.
Their laughter was cut short by a thunderous bang–Caleb had kicked the door open.
“You filthy bitch! What have you done!” His eyes were bloodshot, a predator unleashed.
“C–Caleb, I can explain…” Elena stammered, backing into a comer.
Caleb sneered, seized her by the throat, and slammed her against the wall.
“Water dungeon? Torture all night? You dared?”
Seeing the truth was out, Elena dropped the act, tore off her mask of innocence. “Yes! I wanted her dead! Otherwise, how could I take her place? If she lived, you and your brother would never forget her!”
“You venomous snake!” Caleb trembled with fury, raising his hand to strike.
“What, heartbroken now? Forgotten who saved you five years ago? Without me, you’d be dead?” Elena screamed, voice hoarse.
“You promised to protect me forever! And now you’re hitting me for that tramp?” she shrieked, shaking her head like a madwoman.
“Saved me?” Caleb laughed bitterly. “You still dare to lie?” His eyes shut tightly, grief twisting his features.
When he opened them again, they were filled with murderous intent. “If you slander my wife one

more time, I’ll make you wish you were never born.”
His grip tightened–Elena’s face darkened, legs kicking feebly in the air.
The driver panicked. Seeing it was Caleb, he fell to his knees, shaking uncontrollably. “Boss, you heard wrong! It was Miss Elena who saved you! I was just–just joking!”
Without a word, Caleb crushed the driver’s other leg under his boot.
Crack!
The sickening snap made everyone shudder. The driver wailed in agony.
“Speak! Who saved me? Who saved me at the Port?” Caleb ground his heel into the man’s hand words cold and slow.
“Caleb, it was that slut Elena who seduced the driver! He’s lying!” Elena tried to twist the truth.
The driver, sensing betrayal, clung to Caleb’s pants despite his mangled leg, crying desperately:
“Boss, it was Elena! She seduced me, begged me to lie! Seven years ago, your sister–in–law savec you–she broke two ribs, spent months in the hospital. Elena got your records, learned the whole thing, and even slept with me for three nights to make me lie!”
“I was obsessed, I was wrong! It wasn’t Elena who insulted her in the alley, it was Elena! She knew your wife was pregnant and feared you’d stop listening to her, so she made her life hell tried to make her depression relapse–just to control you!”
“This was all Elena’s doing, Boss! Please, don’t kill me!”
Elena, who had just gasped for air, lunged at the driver, trying to silence him.
The two fell into a messy brawl, clawing and cursing, spitting out all the filthy secrets they’c hidden for years, throwing each other under the bus.
Every word pierced Caleb like a blade.
His chest heaved with pain. In a frenzy, he pounded the driver’s face until his cries were nc longer audible.
By the time the others arrived, Caleb was drenched in blood.
His eyes glowed with madness. Elena was too terrified to speak.
He pointed at the unrecognizable driver and growled, “Send him to the hospital. Don’t let him di -I’m not finished with him yet!”
