“Hey Lacy” Mom greeted, glancing at Jim with a light frown.

“We are off to bed, don’t stay up too late, you two” Mom broke the silence, she dropped her glass on the counter and left, David right behind her.
I let out a breath I didn’t even realized I was holding. Jim and I shared a glance which only translated one thing.

Kol’s POV
“Why don’t you invite Jim for dinner tonight?” Melina suggested.
I looked away from my phone, feeling confused. Jim used to
join us for dinner sometimes, and there was no formal invitation
those times.
This meant only one thing, she must have thought that
something was going on between Jim and Lacy owing to what
happened last night.
“Sure, what time?”
“Let’s get 7pm.” Melina said with a smirk, “That will give lacy
sometime to get ready.”

I was at fault for leaving Jim and Lacy alone in the sauna
leading to our parents thinking that something was going on
between then. But whatever their thoughts were, it was better
than finding out I was involved.
