I wake up to a strangely cold bed. It’s never cold. Blinking my eyes and adjusting to the room I see that I am alone. Odd. I lift the sheet and smile at the big, stupid moon boots on my legs. Hello Independence. I waddle my way down the stairs, still no sight of my men but it’s early and 1 figure Molly will be out of action today so I get started on breakfast. If there’s a good calling card for the men in this house, it’s the smell of food. Matteo is the first to wander in, nose high in the air.

I made it back early this morning from the club. My plan to avoid Stacy for her visit did not work at all. She had rather graciously stumbled into the club and comered me, screaming in my face about how stupid I am. I couldn’t figure out why she was so angry, which only made it worse. I later got a call from Luciano who explained why she was pissed and went straight home. Kissing my girl in her sleep before the three of us got to working on our plans. We had been up all night needing to make this proposal the best in the world. Nothing but perfection for our princess. We’d managed to contact our elders this morning and after a mouthful from them too, we’d settled on them organizing a Donna ceremony in the coming weeks where we could introduce Ariana to the family. Things were falling in to place.
“Guys! Ye’ll might want to get your asses to breakfast before Donna comes to find you three in bere making wedding sneaky little plans!” Matteo says, clearly out of breath from running here.
“She’s in the kitchen?”
*Yep and cooking!” he grins wide at us.
“Good morning. Princess! We all make out rounds giving her kisses and sitting down for breakfast.
“I’ve got some spare t
some spare time today, did you want to work on some more tattoos? I was thinking we could start on your back.”
“Yes! I want them all as soon as possible! Do you have a design ready?”
I nod at her with an excited smile. “You want to see?”
“I didn’t at the beginning. I wanted them all to be surprises but I’m so excited after getting the sleeves that I do really want to see what that creative brain of yours has come up with.*
She jumps up and starts to grab plates to put them away
“We’ll do that, honey. Go with Luca, Luciano and I have some things to do today so we’ll see you this afternoon, okay?”
“Okay, thank you” I’ll see

Holding out my hand, we make our way up to my room. I shuffle through the stencils and pull out the giant piece I’ve designed for her back and show it to her.
“Do you know the story behind her?”
She whispers and smiles at me. “A beautiful woman who was turned into a fearsome creature after she was wronged. Medusa is a perfect choice.”
The snake heads I designed would be easy to manipulate around Arianas scars and cover her whole back. It was very fitting for her. My girl was alço a fearsome creature.
She hands the stencil back to me and pulls me in for a kiss. It’s soft and passionate, all of the unspoken words between us.
