Chloe had asked the question quietly.
None of the adults even heard her. If anything, they were arguing louder than ever.
Inside the livestream, the viewers couldn’t take it anymore.
“You’re scaring her! What the heck is wrong with you?”

The attached video showed clips of the streamers shamelessly fighting over the girl–making loud, righteous promises while showing their ugly adult faces.
There was also a clip of Chloe, totally overwhelmed, asking if they were just there for the money
It broke people’s hearts.
The caption read: “Are these adults trying to give a child a bright and shining future–or are they trying to use her to secure their own?”
The internet exploded with rage.
“These streamers should all be banned! Chasing clout like this? Have they no shame at all? A kid just lost her mom, and this is how they behave in front of her?”
“Didn’t they say Chloe already did a DNA test? Why are these people even here? What is the orphanage staff doing, letting these streamers in?”
“Didn’t you see how they shoved the caretaker out? She couldn’t even get back in. These people are like thieves, trapping Chloe right in the middle”
“Poor Chloe! These people don’t actually care about her–they’re just using her for the attention!”
Even the director who had shown interest in Chloe reposted the video and blasted the situation.
“I only want people who genuinely want to adopt Chloe to come forward. If this is all for profit, then I’d rather give up on her than let her become some tool for adults to make money!”
The burz kept growing on both sides.
Meanwhile, the comments under the streamers‘ broadcasts turned increasingly vicious.
The chat was filled with people cursing them out, telling them to get lost. But the streamers, seeing the rising popularity, only became more deranged One of them even defended himself with a straight face.
I truly care about Chlor. I already said–I’m the only man here who can’t have children, and I’ve decided I’m never having any in the future just adopting Chlor is enough for me!”

Chloe froze. Happyt.
She didn’t feel happy at all. She had just lost Andres–the person she loved most. How could I possibly be happy?
She glanced at the woman still stuck outside the crowl, then turned back and firmly–fiercely–refused.
