Liam Faulkner’s face turned ashen as he
heard the assistant’s reply.
“What did you say? Madison Campbell is
marrying abroad? That’s impossible! Your
must be mistaken!”
“Mr. Faulkner, it’s absolutely true. Miss
Campbell did marry abroad today, and she
was in that car. I watched her get in, and the
car drove off in the direction of the airport.”
Liam was thunderstruck, standing there
frozen in place.
Then, he violently pushed the assistant aside. Caught off guard, the assistant stumbled,
nearly falling.
Liam recklessly chased after the car as it
drove away.
However, as soon as he reached the gate,
Olivia blocked his way.
Olivia crossed her arms, a mocking sneer on
her lips.
“Liam, where are you going? Today is your
big day. Instead of staying with your bride,
where are you planning to go?”
Liam was frantic.
“Olivia, don’t stop me. I need to find Madison.
I don’t believe she would leave me like this!
There must be a misunderstanding. I need to
find out what’s going on!”
Olivia scoffed.
“Now you remember to look for Madison?
When you hired the hypnotist to erase her
memories for Brittany’s sake, didn’t you think
this day would come? You broke Madison’s
heart into a million pieces, and you expect her
to wait for you? You’re dreaming!”
Liam frowned tightly.
“I just wanted to protect Brittany. Once
everything was over, I would go back to
Madison. I told her all about it! Why wouldn’t
she wait for me?”
Hearing this, Olivia was even more enraged.
“You have the nerve to say that! Do you know
that after a long period of deep hypnosis, it’s
impossible to restore memories? You pushed
Madison into an abyss of no return, making
her forget you forever, you selfish bastard!”
Liam was instantly stunned, as if frozen in
place. Then he desperately shook his head,
unwilling to accept this cruel reality.
“Impossible, you’re lying to me. You must be

trying to stir things up between us, with evil
intentions!”
At this moment, Brittany ran over, crying.
“Liam, what are you doing here?”
“There are so many guests outside. I can’t
handle it all by myself.”
Liam glared at her impatiently.
“Never mind that. I need to find Madison now.
Don’t get in my way!”
Hearing this, Brittany’s face instantly turned
pale.
She reached out and grabbed Liam’s arm
tightly.
“Liam, today is our wedding. You can’t leave.”
“What’s so good about that Madison
Campbell? Why do you have to go find her?
Have you forgotten the promise you made to
me? You said you would be good to me
forever, that you would take care of me for
life!”
Liam forcefully shook off her hand.
“Don’t touch me! If it weren’t for you,
Madison wouldn’t have married abroad. This
is all your fault!”
Brittany staggered, nearly falling to the
ground, her eyes filled with tears.
“Liam, how can you treat me like this? I love

you, but you treat me like this for her… What
did I do wrong? I just want to be with you!”
Liam ignored her completely, turning around
and leaving without looking back.
Seeing this, Brittany cried even harder.
