Another female voice responded: “But I don’t know how to manage a company.”
“It’s okay, I’ll help you.”
“How can that work? You’re Jessie’s fiancé.”
I couldn’t see what they were doing inside. After a brief silence, Aron said: “Joy, you should be able to tell that I don’t like Jessie. We’re only engaged because our families have business partnerships. If you’re the Ryan family’s daughter, you and I could be together too. Don’t you like me?”
