Chapter 4
“Don’t you know? I just had a hysterectomy and stayed in the hospital for over a week before being discharged.”
The livestream comments exploded again as passersby were drawn in by this dramatic turn of events.
Alisa screamed and rushed over, snatching the report from my hands.
After reading the contents clearly, her eyes widened in disbelief.
“This is impossible! You must have forged this report!
“Evan told me half a month ago that you weren’t feeling well and asked me to examine you.
“You must have been afraid I’d discover your pregnancy, so you forged this report in advance to cover up your mistake!
“That has to be it!”
Hearing Alisa say this, others began to chime in agreement.
[From a timing perspective, she had every opportunity to forge the records, and this woman doesn’t seem easy to get along with. It’s not impossible she’d try to frame Dr. Good!]
[Exactly, she’s so cunning. No wonder there are fewer and fewer

doctors willing to tell the truth these days – turns out good doctors really do get framed by patients.]
Seeing these supportive comments, Alisa resumed her superior attitude, a victor’s smile playing at the corners of her mouth.
She arrogantly gestured at me with her chin: “Daisy, I kindly told you to go rest during your pregnancy, but you actually tried to frame
- me.
“Don’t you know how devastating it is for a doctor’s career to have their medical skills questioned?”
After hearing this, I immediately fired back without hesitation:
“Don’t you know how devastating it is for a woman’s future when her reputation is questioned?”
Alisa was stunned, not expecting me to fight back so forcefully.
She looked pleadingly at Evan, wanting him to stand up for her.
Receiving Alisa’s gaze, Evan immediately walked over and shoved me hard without warning. I staggered backward, caught off guard.
But he wasn’t satisfied, reaching out to grab my collar and force me to bow and apologize to Alisa.
“Apologize now! You slandered Alisa and you’re still making

excuses – it’s despicable!”
I looked at him coldly:

“I’m not pregnant. She’s the one who slandered my reputation first.
“I’ve already produced the hospital’s diagnostic report, but she still wants to accuse me of forging evidence. Alisa is trying to destroy
me!”
The comments suddenly stopped as viewers began to consider the truth of my words.
Disgust flashed in Evan’s eyes as he raised his hand to slap me:
“You’re so good at making excuses!”
Seeing that I was about to be slapped hard, Alisa’s face was full of satisfaction.
“Daisy, it’s not that I don’t believe you, but the uterus is too important for women – you can’t joke about something like this.
“You say you had a hysterectomy, so who can vouch for you?”
Behind me was a cold wall. Seeing the incoming slap that I couldn’t dodge, I helplessly closed my eyes.
Just then, the living room door was forcefully pushed open from

outside. A man rushed in like a gust of wind and firmly grabbed Evan’s right hand.
Evan immediately let out a pig–like squeal, glaring defiantly at the
newcomer:
“Who are you? Why are you breaking into my house?”
Hugo Olson stared at him expressionlessly, curling his lips disdainfully:
“This seems to be Daisy’s house. You’re helping someone else condemn your own girlfriend – what right do you have to call this your house?
“Also, didn’t you want proof? That’s exactly why I’m here.”
Alisa let out a scoff: “What are you supposed to be? Do you even know medicine to come here talking about proof?”
As she spoke, she glanced at the comments, wanting to see the livestream audience support her words.
But this time, she was shocked.
The livestream comments increased at an exponential rate.
[Hugo Olson actually appeared before my eyes!]

[Dr. Olson’s appointment bookings are scheduled until next Christmas, and if I remember correctly, it’s only early Christmas now!]
[Did you guys notice that Dr. Good claims to be a gynecology expert, but how could she not recognize the most accomplished doctor in the field?]
[You make a good point.]
Alisa’s face instantly turned deathly pale.
