Reece never heard this story from Julissa.
Julissa described the scene when she first met him.
But Reece’s mind was completely blank.
He couldn’t even remember where he first met Julissa.
The office door was knocked, and Reece snapped back to reality.

Reece rubbed his forehead in frustration. “You can leave now.”
Linda took a few steps, then turned back. “Mr. Diaz, James told me to inform you that the car involved in Shyla’s accident has been found. I’ve emailed the details to you.”
Reece nodded.
“Where is James?”
Everyone was busy with the negative news of the company, but Re didn’t see James all night.
“He…” Linda hesitated to say, “He’s in a coffee shop…”

Coffee shop?!” Reece was surprised for a while, then his voice was filled with anger. “Call him back here!”
“He only said he was in a coffee shop…” Linda gave a wry smile. “But he didn’t say which one…”
Reece thought James really needed a lesson when he came back.
There was an unread email in his inbox. Reece clicked it, his gaze growing colder.
The car that crashed into Shyla’s car was parked in an alley near the crossroads since early morning. There were no shops in that alley, only abandoned buildings. So, no one lived there, and cars rarely parked in that area.
And when Shyla’s car appeared, that car just happened to start up and drive out, causing a collision.
There were no such coincidences in the world.
If it was Zayne…
He didn’t need to make things so complicated, just to find another car to crash into his own car.
It was too unreasonable.
If Zayne wanted Shyla to keep the secret, he had many better ways.
Causing a car accident could only make everything out of control.
Reece didn’t think Zayne would be that foolish.
“Maybe I was wrong about Julissa and Zayne?”
Reece was deep in thought when there was another knock on the door.

“Come in.”
Cristina, dressed in a plain dress, without makeup, walked in hurriedly.
“Reece,” she said with a worried cry, “I’ve seen the news online. Is it serious?”
Reece looked up and quietly closed the email.
“Don’t worry,” he said softly. “Just a small issue.”
“Reece.” Cristina frowned, standing by Reece’s side, aggrievedly. “I didn’t expect that Julissa would play such a trick. She and Zayne must work together to cause trouble for us deliberately.”
Cristina wasn’t worried about the Diaz Group getting negative news online, but she was angry that Julissa could still make a comeback!
She almost ruined Julissa.
Reece’s eyes flickered slightly.
“You really dislike Julissa.”
Cristina was taken aback. She didn’t expect Reece to say that.
“She was my ex–wife, but what happened before was really unfair to her. She was slandered by others, and she just fought back. That makes
sense.”
Reece’s voice was calm, like he was just analyzing the situation.
Cristina felt resentment but didn’t dare to show it, only lowering her eyes and saying softly, “I know it’s petty to say that, but she wants take you away. No woman can be generous to her rival. Reece, I love you deeply. You mean everything to me. I’m scared I’m gonna lose

After saying this, she slowly held Reece’s hand.
“I know she’s pitiable, but can you think about me?” Tears fell from Cristina’s eyes as she spoke. “I was alone abroad for three years, with no family or friends. I just wanted to finish my studies quickly and come back to you. I missed you too much, and the doctor said I had signs of depression.”
Hearing this, Reece’s heart softened, and he pulled her to sit on the couch.
“It’s my fault.”
Cristina sobbed, but she still glanced at Reece’s expression.
“Reece, how does the Diaz Group plan to handle the issues this time? Even if Julissa is pitiable, the Fowler family is watching you closely. You should be careful.”
No matter what, Cristina couldn’t let Julissa make a comeback!
Reece looked at Cristina with a complicated expression.
He tried to ask, “Do you have any good ideas?”
“The Archdale Daily fell, but there are many other small media outlets that can help the Diaz Group. We can support one of them to expose the truth. We can say the Fowler family deliberately made up the story to cover up Zayne’s affair with Julissa. Then we can solve the Diaz Group’s issue.”
This was the best plan. It didn’t seem that she was targeting Julissa it could ruin Julissa’s reputation again! Everybody would think Julissa was a cheating woman.

Reece’s expression changed slightly, his deep voice carrying an imperceptible danger.
“An aflair between Julissa and Zayne?”
Hearing the question, Cristina felt a bit nervous, but to achieve her goal, she continued, “Isn’t it true? You haven’t finished the divorce. application yet, and she’s already moved into the Fowler’s place! They really have an affair! We should expose this news to the public.”
Reece’s eyebrows furrowed slightly, and his eyes were filled with coldness.
He didn’t stop her, continuing to listen to Cristina’s words..
“Reece, I’m doing this for the future of the Diaz family, and I don’t want to see you being deceived by Julissa.”
Reece’s eyes narrowed slightly. “So, you’re willing to do anything to defeat Zayne and Julissa?”
Cristina paused, then said thoughtfully, “I don’t want to hurt Julissa. She’s a pitiable person. I just don’t want the Fowler family to take advantage of the Diaz family.”
Reece quietly pulled his hand away from Cristina’s grasp. His gentle expression also became sharp. “So, how did you trick Shyla into going to your villa?”
