I don’t know how she went to her grandfather to complain.
At the thought of this, a flame surged in Reece’s heart.
“I went to my grandfather’s house.” Recce stood up, his gloomy expression on his face making Cristina a little scared.
“What happened?”
“It’s okay, you don’t need to worry. Just get–ready to design the stones.”
Upon hearing this sentence, Cristina felt much relieved.
Reece rushed to his grandfather’s house without stopping, leaning his body against the car seat, the intense pain in his back making him furrow his brow.
James looked in the rearview mirror and felt a twinge of reluctance.
“Mr. Diaz, your injury…”
“It’s nothing,” Reece said, turning his head slightly to look out the window, his eyes filled with complexity.
Bay Villa, Reece got out of the car and hurried into the villa.
The atmosphere in the room was oppressive, the old man sat on the soft chair in the living room, his back slightly bent, but his spirit undiminished.
When Reece entered, Dillan said nothing and simply slammed the contract onto the table.

“You see for yourself!”
“The Fowler Group announced the signing of their first chief jewelry designer.”
Reece furrowed his brow, flipped to the front page, and saw Julissa’s name!
Reece’s slender fingers suddenly clenched, and he jerked his head up. the anger in his brows abruptly subsiding as he looked at Dillan.
“When did this happen?”
“Just now.” Dillan’s face darkened as he looked at Reece, wishing he could smash the cane in his hand over him. “We agreed to give Julie shares, and you, you little brat, what nonsense did you tell her! Letting her leave the shares untouched and run off to become a designer!?”
Julissa has always been obedient, without Reece’s influence, how could she have come to this point?
Reece looked stern, watching his grandfather, who had repeatedly become angry because of Julissa, and the accumulated confusion in his heart finally couldn’t help but burst out.
“Grandpa, what’s so special about Julissa that makes you protect her like this?”
She just had some talent for gambling stones, and in the three years since she married into the Diaz family, she had been keeping a low profile. Besides that, what else is there to deserve Grandpa’s favoritism?
“In terms of both conditions and abilities, Cristina was no less than Julissa.”
“Bang!”

Chapter69
Dillan couldn’t bear it any longer, he picked up the teacup and smashed it towards Recce.
Recce stood straight, not flinching at all, as the teacup whistled past his ear and crashed heavily against the wall behind him.
Reece was unwilling, stubbornly refusing to explain a word.
He gave Julissa the opportunity to choose and also gave that woman enough dignity.
Unfortunately, she was narrow–minded and insisted on doing those foolish things of “abandoning the light and embracing the darkness“.
The atmosphere in the room grew increasingly gloomy, and after a while, the somber environment was finally broken by Dillan’s heavy sigh.
“Do you know why I let you marry Julissa in the first place?”
Reece frowned, “Isn’t it just because she promoted a product for the Diaz Group? So, is she in good terms with the Diaz Group?”
It’s just the same old feudal superstition.
Dillan shook his head.
“She had talent, outstanding ability, and was pretty enough. It was only natural for her to promote products successfully.”
Dillan paused for a few seconds here. He didn’t want to say it originally, but now, his foolish grandson, for that woman Cristina, is losing his mind!
“Caroline had a daughter.”
Dillan’s voice was steady, completely calm, leaving the rest feeling

helpless.
Reece’s face hardened slightly, “I heard that Caroline once had a daughter, but she was so well protected that her identity was never revealed…
Reece said, his steady gaze couldn’t help but tremble slightly.
“Could it be… Julissa and Caroline have some kind of connection?”
Dillan shook his head.
“I was still investigating many things, so I didn’t tell you, but Julissa used to wear a ring. Do you remember when you got married?”
Reece was a little confused, he stared blankly for a moment, and finally shook his head somewhat nervously.
Over the past three years, he has never focused on Julissa, so how could he possibly remember what ring she wore?
“That must have been Caroline’s relic.”
Dillan whispered, “The Diaz Group had the privilege of collaborating with Caroline. That ring was designed by Caroline herself, unique in the world. Up to now, no jeweler has been able to surpass Caroline, so there can’t possibly be any imitations of that ring.”
“How could Caroline’s ring be on her hand?!”
Reece couldn’t believe it: “But Julissa couldn’t be Caroline’s daughter.
If she was Caroline’s daughter, how could she willingly in the Diaz family for three years?
